Job Title: Paramedic Profession: Paramedic Specialty: Emergency Medical Service Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (18:45-7:15) Experience: Minimum 1 year like experience in the last 2 years License: Current Virginia Certification, or Approved Virginia EMT reciprocity with proof of FBI fingerprint check required if not from Virginia. Certifications: BLS, Paramedic Certification (Equivalency), FEMA 700 Certification, ACLS, FEMA 100 Certification, PALS, FEMA 200 Certification Must-Have: - IV skills - Hazmat Awareness certification preferred Description: Paramedics are needed for 12-hour night shifts. This position is non-driving. The client can cancel up to 36 hours prior to the assignment due to census changes. Uniform pants and shirts are provided. Applicants should have current Virginia certification or equivalent credentials, and acceptable certifications from out-of-state will also be considered. Documentation regarding certification and experience is required upon submission. Candidates must possess AHA ACLS and PALS certifications. FEMA ICS 100, 200, and 700 certifications are required. Hazmat Awareness certification is preferred but not required.
